Do I need to have boating experience in order to be a member?
If you are new to boating or are not proficient in handling the type of boat that you are interested in leasing, we will provide you with a boating lesson. We will also provide you with a study guide that will prepare you for boating. We will give you on-the-water instruction in the same boat or in a boat that is very similar to the one that you are interested in using.

Each member is responsible for refueling their vessel after each use. They are also responsible for any damages to the boat while in their possession

We require 24 hours advance cancellation notice to avoid penalty. Cancellations under 48 hours notice forfeit a day.
Do I have access to all the boats in the club or only to the one that I registered for?
The boat that you sign up for is considered your "primary" boat. In addition to your "primary" boat, you may be able to access additional boats in the club fleet that have a monthly fee equivalent to or less than the cost of your "primary" boat if it is not available or if you have a specific need for a certain other boat. You will need to contact our office to make arrangements. You must be qualified and become an approved user on any of the other boats that you are interested in using. Upgrades are also available by contacting our office.
Can I split my membership with someone else?
No. The membership is defined by the number of days not by the number of users but each member can list 3 individuals that will be able to operate the boat on their plan but they must be qualified by LBLC and be listed in the membership agreement as an approved operator. For memberships being held with additional operators there will be an increase in the Membership Fees to cover the additional cost of validating additional operators.
How do I schedule my use of the boats?
Each member is issued a User ID and Password that gives them access to the online booking calendar for their boat or they can contact our office.
Is there a maximum number of days that can be booked consecutively?
The maximum number of days allowed at any time is three (3).
What expenses are not covered either by the Membership Fees or the monthly membership fee?
Each member is responsible for the cost to replace the fuel that they used, and any damages to the boat.
How far in advance can I book a reservation?
You can reserve use on your "primary" boat up to 90 days in advance.
What happens if I book days in advance and then my plans change and I am unable to use the boat on that date?
We require 48 hours advance notice for cancellations, no penalty.
Where will the boats be located?
The boats will be located at Camana Bay.
Where are the boats collected?
The boats can be picked up at the North Sound Barcadere and at the Lobster Pot.
Do I have to clean the boat up after use?
No, our staff will take care of all cleaning and detailing of the boat for the next member. You are responsible for returning the boat to the dock you departed with the equipment stowed in the manner received.
Do you offer daily boat rentals?
No, but our sister company, Cayman Island Boat Rentals, do and will provides all LBLC members a 15% discount.
If I own a boat can I put it in your program and earn revenue?
All of the boats in our fleet are 100% controlled, maintained and repaired by us. We will consider working with privately owned boats that are late models and well cared for. If you are interested, please give us a call and we can elaborate on what we are looking for.
What happens at the end of my 1-Year membership?
You may renew or cancel your membership.
